Yesterday, Jake and I booked Harlan's BBQ to cater our wedding reception. We'll be having BBQ chicken, hand-carved roast beef, and several side dishes (yet to be determined). I know BBQ chicken isn't the fanciest thing in the world, but I think it'll be perfect. Think "summer bbq meets best wedding ever".

We've found a photographer!

Jake and I have decided to go with Life Prints Studios (http://lifeprintsstudios.com/) for our wedding photography. Check out their website to view the photographer's online portfolio (his wedding photos look beautiful).

Sometimes I get so excited for the wedding that I can hardly stand it.

New Dress!

Our new flower girl/junior attendant dress looks like this:

It's a more mature pattern, and I think my flower ladies will look lovely in it. 

A Change of Plans

The flower girl dress pattern (previously posted) will no longer be used. When envisioning Lilly and my cousins as members of my wedding party, I for some reason pictured four very lovely eight year olds. In reality, however, they're all a bit older and much more mature, and the dress I chose simply won't do.

My mom and I will be taking another trip to the fabric store this Friday. Stay tuned for a new pattern (and perhaps some fabric selections for the other dresses).
